    Evinrude Ficht

    I am looking at getting my first bass boat, and it has a 00' Evinrude FICHT 150 hp outboard. I have been told to stay away from the FICHT motors, but wanted to see what you all have to say about them. Thanks for any info you can help me out with. Thanks!

    Although I know people with 98-99 model year 150's that are running great with a lot of hours on 'em, they bought 'em new and had someone that knew what they were doing. I personally wouldn't buy used at this late date. JMHO
