Needless to say its come a long way. The skeg is done. Its not a "200" profile. A 200 profile is done on some Allison's I've seen which don't typically run the gearcase heights some Stroker and Bullet guys do so I didn't want to take that much off. Less skeg in the water(meaning not as much material size wise in the water, ie skinny ass piece of metal instead of a nice thick piece, keeping your rig running straight at 90 mph)can break off eaisier in my mind, so the bulk of that big sportmaster skeg is still there. I basically took off the bad part then started sanding. Took that rough ass finish off too. It won't stay shiney too long but its not near as rough as it was. Now time to get to work on the inside.
