You see what I am up against using this Johnny Ray mount.


I thought about a ram mount right above the power plug, then use a clamshell to cover the hole.


Then while at the hardware store I ran across these faucet washers and had an Idea.


Yep they stacked up and made great bushings. (A little long on the bolt though !)


Yep, That guy right there is a genius ! (sometimes :/)



Worked Great ! I think it doesn't look bad at all.





I can turn it around and see it from the bow.


In travel mode.

I have a base from JRay ordered. But I may just stay with this for a while.

Now the task of learning this thing ! I've worked with GPS's before so it's all about learning the system. The ducer worked flawlessly Friday. The picture is incredible ! The GPS was off a bit. I was in the woods according to the screen :/
I have some power problems in the console so it's gonna get hard wired to the battery tomorrow.

No not a clamshell. A bit of sealer but I'm sure the cables knocked it off. I'll be putting the JR riser on it soon.
