    throttle trim switch gone bad?

The trim switch that is mounted in the throttle/shift arm stopped working. Is this easy to replace? How would I determine if it is bad? The bow panel switch and the motor switch still work..... Boats are a pain in the butt! 1990 GT 200 Flush mount arm so every thing is hidden. I was thinking it would be easyier to put a teleflex pro trim switch on.

    Thanks in advance....

Re: throttle trim switch gone bad? (190DCR)

Due to the fact that your other trim switches are working, that tells us the trim system is working too. So, it is either the one switch or the wiring from that switch that has a problem.

The switch is relatively easy to replace and not very expensive.
