Can someone explain the differences in these units?

7608 & 7607 (why is the 7in more expensive)

and the new echomap UHD units

Is the DI/SI going to be the same on the 76 units and the UHD units?

I like the 76 units better and they seem to be higher quality but I see nothing about the 76xx and UHD imaging.

The 7600 series have been replaced by the 8600 series, and the echomap UHD/Ultra units (as well as the 8600s of course) have advanced sonar when compared to 7600s.

So, current options will include the echomap UHD series (for 6, 7, and 9-inch models), and the echomap Ultra or 8600s (for 10 and 12-inch models).

Thanks for the knowledge that makes sense. With the 93sv UHD can I somehow pay to have both set of maps? (ocean and lakes)
