How pissed are the MS State fans right now?
Not really at all. We had plenty of chances all season to sew it up and didn't. We have a good team and know it but just didn't seal the deal. Works out like that sometimes.

The only thing I can think of that hurt em was State's RPI ranking.
RPI ended at 55, not too bad. A couple bad losses early though. Losing to Rider at home to start the season was a killer, losing a double digit lead to close the game at Arky, losing at Auburn a couple weeks ago............. not to mention at the time they scheduled UCLA and DePaul for road games this year, both of which we won, they turned out to be real bad teams this year. Both of those teams are usually good and if they have close to their normal seasons those wins look good for us. They were good when we scheduled a cuple years ago. Kinda like our football schedule. Several years ago we schedule a mediocre West Virgina team. Worked out real good. By the time they rolled around on our schedule they were top 5. Same with Georgia Tech and Houston. We had our chances, just didn't come through.

Can't believe Miss State didn't get in. Hope somebody knocks them out of the NIT before Memphis has to play them

disappointed but more so over the uk game than anything. Can't believe we let this one get away. Still msu plays well in SEC tourney and always gives the cats a game. Not surprised we didn't get in ncaa though. Didn't deserve it over the season, too many weak losses and no big wins til tournament. Oh well still swept the rebels
I couldn't give a rat's butt about basketball but I watched the SEC champ. When that last second shot went in I knew it was over. Those boys didn't have another 30 sec in them much less 5 minutes. I was upset, not pissed.
