ugh! sore as hell...

I took a class in contortion trying to get my bluewaters put in this weekend... I feel it today.. feels like two trucks ran over me, but I got it done and they look good.... I basically had to rewire the entire boat. Two real fun parts. #1 was getting the livewell light run. I didn't want to drill in the bottom of the well (leak potential) so I mounted it to the top (roof) in the middle, and made the wires com out the front. But it's about 2 more inches to the center from the access than I have arm... that took about 3 hours to figure out. #2, did you know that if you ball up into the fetal position under the passenger console, then fall over to the right and squeeze your head between the seat and the steering wheel, you can gain access to the driver's console? Getting back out is the problem... repeat 30 times... Always have a plan and be prepared to revise that plan 20 or so times when doing a project like this... I think I could cut this install from 14 hours down to about 3-4 hours now... I know what not to do...

I'll try and remember that technique. Regarding the fall is it a controlled roll or more to the all hope abandoned and close you eyes and hope you survive dive in approach.
