what exactly are the differences between the 93sv plus and the 93 ultra ?

I just got a look at the new 93 ultra demo display , I do not notice any difference in the screen shot from the 93sv plus livescope I have been using for over a year . Can someone please tell me exactly what the differences are in the 93 plus and the 93 ultra ?

The UHD 93 will operate the newer GT54 transducer in the UHD frequencies whereas the 93+ will not. As per viewing Live Scope...the LS image would be the same on both units.

93 UHD has nothing to do with a High Def screen......its to do with the frequencies as Toby said above.

I know the more expensive units have the new cradle system. I’m not sure about the 93ULtra

we had 2 93 echo map plus units, both cradles failed after 1 year. Garmin replaces both but both left us with a flickering, powering off unit on major fishing trips. It was very frustrating. I’ve never seen anyone complain about them but we had two go....a few months apart

For me, the DI is a big improvement......SI not so much.....
