Re: vineyard lake in Jackson County (buck up)

We had a club T there 15 years ago.... 1 keeper was weighed in and it was a squeeker keeper.

I found that the two canals accross from the launch with all the trailers on it were the best spots on the entire lake.

I use this site to look at all the lakes http://www.flashearth.com/

Re: vineyard lake in Jackson County (buck up)

I have fished there a bunch this year. I will start by saying that the launch is gravel and not sloped much. I can not back down far enough with my 15 ft row boat for it to float on / off. The lake is a clear lake and has lots of weeds. I have had good luck fishing the point right out to the right of the boat launch. If u go left it is very shallow and very weed filled. I have had great luck with red eye shad rattle traps in sexyshad for bass and pike. Another good lure is a war eagle spinnerbait in firecracker. I look for deep weedbeds next to deep water and I always catch fish. If u want to know more about this lake or the others that are close to it, give me a call. 5172605545.

I live 10 minutes from it...its a better walleye lake by far than LM or SM...and it has some VERY shallow spots...

Knutson sporting goods in Brooklyn have been planting walleye in there for years. Stop in Knutsons and ask they are very helpful if you ant to go after some eye's. They are more of a hunting supply than fishing....they make hunting decoys by the thousands and sell them world wide.
