I have a 1987 evinrude 150xp, going accross the lake at about 5500 rpm the engine cuts off, then it comes back on and takes off again. Sometimes it will only do it in the morning time after that it seems to run fine. I've changed the vro pump, put a new bulb on with new gas lines going to the engine and gas tanks. Has new spark plugs, wires, it's been put on a dino machine when I had the vro pump installed and they said everything checks out but when its on the water it's a different story
