Lund 2075 Pro V Bass hydraulic jack plate

Looking for recommendations for a hydraulic jack plate brand/model and setback for a new Lund Pro V Bass 2075 with a 250 ProXS 4-stroke. I have been researching all across the net and find guys running anything from a 4” to a 12” setback. I originally was set on a Bob’s until I found a forum where a member showed interference with the plate and rivets on the transom. He was able to mill notches in the plate, but I’m not all that interested in doing that. I understand top-end performance may not be significantly affected by the plate, but my interests are for shallow water applications, and being able to lower the motor in rougher water.

    Appreciate any input.

There is a Bassmaster Pro that runs this boat with the nickname “Gussy”. He has a couple YouTube videos where he goes through his 2075 Pro V Bass and talks quite a bit about the Jack Plate. I believe he has been running a 10” Atlas.

I have the 10 inch Atlas manual. The jackplate really helps clear the back deck. It won’t speed the boat up but I think it helps with rough water.

I had a 10 inch Atlas hydraulic, wouldn't own one without.
