To Matty...Question About Plastics stored on Lid Underside...

Somewhere I saw a picture of a boat you had or have that had worm and plastics bags rigged to the center aluminum lid --- I think it was you anyway??. If I am wrong just ignore this and delete it if you want to...

Anyway, if it was you... Good idea and real smart. How did you do it and what did you use. I put some firm styrofoam under a lid on one of my boats to hook spinnerbaits into and it worked great but did not hold worm bags...what did you use???
If I am wrong just delete this message.
    thanks...

I know I have seen glass rigs that have the clips under the compartment lids but I havnt looked into where to buy them. I have a few bags of plastics I use alot that I wouldnt mine hanging from one of the lids on mine also. I have made a lure hanger for mine but cant hang bags from it. Would like to know where to buy those clips also if someone knows.

Heres the lure hanger I made for mine. Works great for jigs spinnerbaits etc.

I think I saw on the ranger forum a few months back where guys were using name tag clips. Those would have one end is a snap and the other is an alligator clip. Also one of the sponsors sells tackle management systems. I'll try to dig those up.

I don't know how to link to other threads but there's pictures of a homemade version in "clever tips & ideas" dated 4-10-2010 by woodyranger619. Also found 2 sponsors, "Cook's go-to-tackle' and "Easy view tackle system". Hope these help.

I had the cooks and easy view system on my previous glass Ranger boat, in all honesty, didn't care much for them. I much prefer these from tackle warehouse. Flambeau 4510 Tuff 'Tainer Super Half Satchel

I have 2 of these, and they hold all my soft plastics. Flukes, worms, Lizards, etc.

I cant remember the company but they had the whole system for 50 bucks and it had the hangers that glued onto the lids and two crank hangers that screw to the lid support I am going with them.

The plastic "shoe storage" boxes at Wally world work good for storing bags of plastics in boat compartment or shelf. Plus they are much cheaper than "tackle storage" boxes. Mfr like to stick it to fishermen same box call it shoe versus tackle $'s less.

I used rails that I bought from Lowes. They are in the closet organizing section. Then I just used badge clips from Wal Mart. I'll try to find the thread later. I'm getting ready for work right now.

These look good to and the prices are reasonable I think. You just want to get these so you can order one of those visors with the fur on top.

Here you go. I don't use it anymore, I use the rubbermaid shoe box size containers.
