Jackplate?
In decks. Not the transom. Not sure on the stringers
89 is when ranger went to fiberglass transom. Had several 373 v boats and a couple 400’s. Like the original ranger look on the 300 series but the 400 series is a better boat
Be careful cutting the old sleeve off. I did mine and nicked the main wire shorting out my foot pedal. Lost spot lock. $800 dollar mistake.I was trying to be careful. Parts are expensive
I have a 98 518 dvs. My last boat. Does everything I want tandem trailer is nice. Mine runs 67 with a 200 opti. An efi will be slower but sufficient
Are the other boats foam filled like a ranger
Stay as close to max hp. I wouldn’t go less than a 200 on a 519
Use duratec no wax needed
You’re a lucky man. No Dons around here
Not modern looking
Ranger for sure. But I would only run a ranger. The rest are pretty but not a ranger. They started it all
You da man. Thx
Still have to learn how to use them

Looking on my vessel view it says it had a high temperature a while back. I watch it close never saw anything. What is the high temperature set at to alarm. Thx
Old news. People think rangers are slow. Mine will do 70 and that’s slow. Be real
In my experience I could turn a tempest faster than a fury of the same pitch
If you want to see the difference in a ranger and a triton visit the ranger factory. I did a few years ago. Big difference
The long one goes on top
What about resale
Hp is calculated using torque which can be measured dynamically and rpms. Hp is calculated
Ok thanks
WHO said rangers were slow.
My question is should new stats leak at all when cold and dump hoses are pulled. On the water hose
I have low water pressure at hose. Water temperature down here is in the fifties. Sometimes motor doesn’t warm up over 90 on the water. Getting more frequent. Seems like at times on water they must...
