For those searching archives: I followed this thread and tried to reset and everything with no luck. It would work a little bit, sometimes, and then lag and be more of a "picture" taken ever 10...

Great pricing. Order placed to replace my talon.
My stomp switches work well and take up a lot less space than the pedal. I have them on each side of my TM pedal.
Ordered a Bob's 8" setback hydraulic jackplate as that seems to be the popular option. Will report back with results.
The more I pilot the boat the more I think this might be spot on. Doing some research compairing 6 vs 10" setbacks.
Still learning this boat and messing with it. 63.5 mph @5640 rpm. Water presure seems fine 20+. Note sure if I want to go higher or lower. I've never seen this boat rooster tail, ever.
With...
Update. Hit 64.6 with a tail wind and 62.5 with a massive headwind last weekend. Full weight, ran into some chine walk. I'm going to bump the motor up a bit on the jackplate and see if that pushes...
Yeah it boogies well. 25 pitch 4 blade prop. I'm running Ionic batteries.
Update: Works okay but I loose bottom contact around 38mph due to the placement. Guess it's a good "am I up on pad" indicator but not the intended effect. I should have moved it even further back...
Man what a great deal. I'm in around 580 hours on my 2010 Z7. Has the 200 optimax on it.
I've got a 106SV at the console and a 106SV on the bow with a 93SV next to it for mapping. Starboard...
Another vote for the 125AH as a main battery if you can swing the extra cost.
I've been running 1-125 AH main battery and 3-50AH trolling motor batteries. After a 9 hour day of fishing (maybe 15...
Beautiful building. Really digging the black and raw wood look.
I find HUNDREDS of brush piles every year. Maybe it's a Texas thing but if you think there would be a good spot for a brushpile based on topo maps...there is probably one there already if you look...
Update: Installing today and will advise for future research. Found a spot next to the factory transducer that should work.
I think this is a yes but checking around if anyone has done this. Has anyone put a gt8 transducer in the bilge area (remove the factory transducer) and used that for at speed?
I'm all Garmin now...
Lake is down and has a ton of pressure lately, interesting it's slowing down. Probably the excessive heat + low water level. Fish biting activity really slowed down for me but I haven't been out...
Etbass.net.
East Texas bass is based in Tyler and fish Palestine and surrounding lakes + lakes in the East Texas region within a ~3 hour drive of Tyler, TX.
Thanks for posting. How does it align versus the trolling motor? Are you on the port or starboard side TM mount?
Ordered a 12' and the stomp switches. Will post back feedback.
Just put on a camera on the back into the 12v system. Transmit via a wireless module to a monitor up front.
I used one that took RCA signal and transmitted it over 2.4GHZ signal. Worked great up...
How do you control your Minn Kota talon on the bow? I have limited space on the front of my Z7 and am wondering if anyone has used the stomp switches....
Good feedback. Kind of what I am thinking, screw the extra 8"; tilt it more often. The extra 5lbs is worth the 2' grab.
For those of you using freshwater maps/trails from trail makers and google earth. Just played around with a "garmin" based map chip. Worked flawlessly to transfer the .gpx file extensions into my...
