I have a 24v trolling motor with 2 batteries connected in series. I want to run a 12v trolling motor to be used as a crappie brake. Can I connect the 12v motor to one of the batteries to get 12v.

The amperage will be fine, 5 is about as high as I ever run my ultrex and 5-6 hours is about as long as I fish.

There was an earlier thread about cheap lifep04 batteries for electronics. Most of the responses were for 100amp batteries for electronics. Is anyone using the 50amp batteries for trolling motors?

Looking at some specs on this boat and see 2 different hull weights. A 2018 model lists at 1215 lbs. The 2023 lists 1520lbs. Did something change on the hulls or is there a misprint?
