You really gotta lower the shutter speed if you want crisp shots. If you've ever seen the moon in the viewfinder with 10x magnification, you'll understand.

Very nice!!! I really had to watch my shutter speed. Too long and I got way too much movement.
It was really cloudy up here, but I got a few glimpses of the blood moon this year. I would have loved to tone down the ISO a bit, but wasn't having much luck.

Most likely the cameraman hanging off the back of the boat while the angler in the front pulls the bait through the water. I doubt they are using GoPros, my guess are very expensive housing with FF...
Nothing crazy in Photoshop, a mask to make the heart of the Milky Way pop a bit more but that's about it.. That's the best part about Milky Way pics, for the most part there's no heavy editing...
Nice job! My 17-55mm has stayed pretty clean, although I rarely shoot in dusty environments. I'm lucky it hasn't taken a dunk yet!

This is a great reason to use 'back button' focusing and AI Servo (Constant autofocus)... This separates the focusing and shutter to different buttons... When using the camera in the standard...
