I did but Im using the suzuki gauges so YMMV. My gauge only works with NMEA so it might have been automatic?
Just relooked, I had to select in my gauge where to get my speed from, I chose my MFD.
I have mine setup like this. I don't remember settings I changed if any. But all I did was connect both units to the NMEA network.
I bet if you measured the voltage on a lead acid when running at 100% it doesn't stay above 12 for very long, I would guess minutes before it started dropping. Once you stopped the draw it would...
"prolonged periods" is the real issue. Could we be bit more vague?
How long does a typical lead acid/agm stay above 12 volts (or at full amps) when running at wide open on a minn kota?
It comes down to how you fish. Obviously spot lock is the most useful time for a turret. The fact that you can spot lock and move the turret back and forth to try and find the strongest return will...
I will let you know soon, I have the 65Ah being delivered after xmas. I am 99% sure its overkill with any type of charge on the run system, I have the PP Charge.
I have a 12 up front and 95% just use it for livescope. I have a split screen setup for livescope and maps for finding waypoints, but 99% of the time I just glance at it and switch back to full...
There is also an aftermarket part for the "issue" https://dd26fishing.com/collections/boat-accessories/products/stabilizer-clip-for-garmin-graphs
I updated yesterday with no issues to my charge
I can only speak to the two I have used. I started with a livescanner. I dont like the breakaway that it uses especially in rough water, its just to weak for how I run. But I loved the speed...
Muskie guys have used upwards of 6 livescopes at a time. I'm thinking the price to play for "live" 360 in power and processing might be pretty high.
Will try that, it makes sense.
Yeah I got all the same, but when I start the motor the "Eng RPM" stays blank. If i change to gauges it displays the rpms.
So I got it all setup thanks, very helpful. But now I have a different issue. When viewing the gauge page the gauges are displaying info but the numbers on the combo page don't display anything. I...
Thanks Bill, you saved me a few minutes. Much appreciated
Awesome that's perfect, I wanted them on my driving screen. I will go try and figure it out.
Live well water temp might be good. My gauge has time and water pressure. I can't really think of any additional information I would need at the console. I thought about putting a charger port...
Hours is built into my new gauge also.
Yeah I put in a SMG4 so I have thermostat etc all in one unit.
I am looking for ideas on what to do with a 2 inch hole on my console. It was a fuel gauge that I don't need anymore due to upgrading my other gauges. I have a plug in it right now but was curious...
I hooked my 126sv up to my SMG4 with NMEA today and I get all my gauge info no issues. I haven't found a way to combine the gauge readout with the map and I am assuming you can't. Am I missing...

I use a Suzuki 250ss and have troll control for it. Having said that I troll 90% with my trolling motor. If i need to pull over 3 mph for muskie and striper I will use the big motor.
I do it all the time for walleye, whites, striper, pike, and muskie. I use these https://hillsrodholders.bargains/products/cleat-mount-rod-holders-for-your-boat-made-in-the-usa
