Alright guys, finally had a chance to pull bearing carrier. Chipped gears is the issue. What's the best route to take now? Buy new gears, seals, water pump, or just look for a used lower?

Got home from work and checked prop for any noises. Smooth. Can metal build up cause the ticking? I'm pulling to checkout anyway, just wondering what would cause that noise
