I made a step I like to the size I wanted out of cutting board from Sam's. Bill helped me with a tool for the countersinking of the angle screws .... and showed me how to use it.LOL. I really like...
I highly recommend Millennium Marine B100 seat. You will not regret it. As I have gotten older, my balance, knees and back are not what they once were. I have tried different seats. This seat is...
I hate personal property taxes, but they are going to get the money from you some way or another.
We have another home in another state. They do not have personal property taxes, but they get the...
Tackle, weight, and tackle/weight placement can make a lot of difference on an aluminum hull.
Someone above asked about DeGray Lake..
In my opinion, DeGray is the best lake in the area. It fishes great and does not have a lot of traffic.
We are in Hot Springs on Lake Hamilton. We...
I have a Ranger 106. My boat has a removable panel behind the gear shifter held in place by 8 screws
I ran my cables there to under the dash.
I have the 16 ft. Ranger Cherokee with a 40 HP Yamaha. This is what I run and it gets around 5500 RPM with a good digital tach. I run an aluminum prop on this boat and I really like Solas props a...
Two or three things...
I have had a RT188 for about 10 years now. They are very wide stable boats with a huge front deck and a good storage design.
I would just retype pretty much what Bill...
I have a 106 Cherokee and have had three batteries back there. Two were Optima Bluetop. They all fit.
They make a grease called silicone grease...clear and not messy and a quick fix. Use a little and throw the rest of the tube somewhere in the boat storage. Quick and easy.
They make a big wide roller with grooves in it that grabs the V and centers it for you. Look in the tin boat section for a thread about trailers or a post by Bill Reynolds.

Done. Sorry. I didn't know.
If I could help you I surely would. You helped me with something a while back and I wish I could help you.
I don't think I would use that as a selling point. I think Vexus has STOPPED using .100 in their hulls your model area. They went to .125 for the boats with over 115 and maybe all their models....
ADDED Ultrex to my RT188. I have a 115 Yamaha...Fast enough for me. I had fast boats before and do not need one now.
The Ultrex made a good boat a great boat. The front deck is awesome with...
If it is in warranty, get to the dealer and get it to the factory.
If you or another welder goes working on it, you will void the warranty and you will be SOL if it does not fix it and you will be...
I was talking about the o-ring so I could get a couple of spares without pulling my existing one out... thanks.
PM SENT
I have Ultrex. I have been VERY happy with it. Have had NOT one problem going on probably 4 years or so and I live on a lake and it gets a lot of use.
My main point is I would not buy a new...
Would you share the part number and source or how I can order one for a spare or I might just go ahead and change it. Where did you order/buy it? Good info. Thanks for the post.
I think 6300 is max RPM
Prop it to where you get as close as you can to the max RPM at full throttle. These motors still develop power and like it up close to max with right prop.
Get an owners...
Big thanks to Yam911... you really helped me a lot. Without help and the wiring diagram. I would not have been able to fix it. My gages work now
When I did not have power on the incoming side...
I had a similar problem with my 2013 Yamaha F115. I greased everything and the little balls at the end of the stainless tube. This fixed my noise and cracking sound but yours sounds like a...
The red wire had power going to the fuse. The yellow wire did not have power going to the fuse. I pulled the panel with the control and shifter box apart and traced the yellow wire backwards toward...
