Anyone know an average tow weight for this boat. I’m thinking about trading vehicles. Had any experience towing this or a similar boat with a midsize truck. Weighing my options.
Bad shift actuator. Mine went out June 5th. Got boat back last Friday. Takes over a month to get the part under warranty repair.
Your probably exactly right about that.
It took me a long time to learn to control the walking. At some point I think you learn to anticipate it and correct before it starts. The 195 is a handful with the 200. I have said it before but...
I always have at least a millennium seat on an adjustable post up front or the factory butt seat. I crappie fish 99% of the time so a seat is important. I’m still running three lead batteries....
I’ve seen 72 with stock 23 fury @ 5800ish rpm’s. Haven’t run the Fury WOT since I got it worked but the holeshot is a lot better so I bet the Rpm’s are higher. I have a powertech tro4 24 that is...
I have a 6 inch manual jack plate. 23 Fury worked. I’ve been up and down and finally settled at 3 5/8 prop to pad. 3 1/2 is a good starting point. I had the long learning curve of learning to...
I have one same age and same problem. Not a wiring problem on mine. I wired it straight to the battery, soldered connection with #10 wire size. Still shutting off. Not a battery problem either. ...
Posted on the prop forum a while back. Here’s where I am at now. Local prop shop recommended a 24 pitch powertech tro4. Actually a good prop for this boat so far. This prop improved my boat...
Be prepared for really muddy water. You will not be able to see fish in your live well yes that muddy. Road runners with heavy vibration blades if you are trolling. I think most are live scoping...
Update. Tried raising the motor up with the powertech. It was a no go. Didn’t have enough trim to get the bow up enough to prevent loping at higher speed. Dropped it back down and can trim up...
I am familiar with fishing a clear water lake for crappie. It is not unusual for them to go as deep as 50 feet of water when the water gets real cold. I haven’t seen them go any deeper than that on...
Ok I’ve had mine for 11 months now. It came with a Fury 23 pitch. 200hp Mercury 4 Stroke. Manual jack plate. Yes I know a hydraulic is better. It takes months to learn to drive this boat if you...
The one thing I have not seen mentioned is the blood trail if you make a marginal but lethal shot. I have real world experience. If they run off expect a terrible blood trail it will be spotty and...
Follow the crowd there is almost always one. Expect very muddy water. Lake may be very low drawdown that time of year.
Thanks
It’s a 2020 model so 6200? 5700 is best I’ve seen recently. That was by VesselView mobile and gps on speed
Looking for suggestions on ordering the right pitch. Motor is a Mercury 200 pro XS 4 stroke. Currently turning 5700 rpm at 69 mph on a 23 pitch Fury last week in upper 80’s water temp. Looking for...
