Yes, i agree Ryan and all of us Basscat guys are like family also..your response to Larry was amazing and very detailed, if we can get Larry to try a Bravo 1 XS on his Lynx i am sure it will put a...
Very well said and explained RMG63 and i 100% agree with every word of that explanation :yesnod:
Drivability should be better with the Fury 4 opposed to the Fury 3 “BUT” the Fury 4 provides alot of stern lift which in your case may be even more considering your lithium troll batteries over...
100% Agree..as i stated above, i would throw my Fury 3 & 4 in the lake to keep my 26 Bravo 1 XS..just my 2 cents..
We will get you dialed in, load all of your heavy tackle and such in the rear and lighter stuff in the front. I have ran a Fury 3, a Fury 4 and the prop that performs best across the board for me...
I found some older posts and i think you run a 25 pitch Tempest, is that correct and what PVS plug setup are you using on the Tempest? Thanks..
I have no doubt that when you see it in person and look it over, you will like it and it will not blow out. I was impressed when i seen it in person, my first thoughts when holding it in my hands was...
Rubber coated wearplate from Pro Marine parts (part #27997) and you will never have a blown out gasket again. My paper gasket has blown out twice and both times proper installation and torque was...
I agree to call Precision Sonar and they actually have pics of my Lynx on their website with dual lowrance live 9’s mounted on it. I am 100% happy with my dual mount from them :thumb up2::smile:
I would raise it up off of the trailer bunks and look for hull blisters where it sits on the bunks, not bad if the blisters are not popped. I had a 2003 model and my friend has a 2005 model and both...
The bottom pic is my Lynx and i 100% love my mount. I installed it with the lag bolts supplied and it is just as solid today as the day i installed it
Not that it matters but the answer to the Lynx and that safe feeling you speak of is the “Mercury Racing Bravo 1 XS” that is the magical prop for the Lynx and i have tried them all.
Post on the BCB owners board says that the Lynx is history..Puma STS sales killed it..i guess we both now run a discontinued model :crying: oh well i guess things change but i still love my Lynx..
Thanks for the info..if i add one in the future, it would most likely be a Bob’s..
Thanks for the prop trial offer and i may just take you up on that offer..i may go the hydro jack in the future but for now i am going to run the Bravo some more times to get a more time feel for...
Set mine at the top of the trim rams right where it changes to tilt and mine never smokes when set there..2020 Pro XS 300 4s..
I probably should have got a hydro jackplate when i ordered the boat but i just didn’t do it..the holeshot is pretty dang good for it being a manual plate though..it jumps really good when the well...
Update..I ran the prop today and 2 things i noticed different from the Fury 4..I have a manual jackplate set flush from the factory, poles and standard batteries..with that being said the Bravo is...
What top speed and rpm’s are you seeing with that combo?
What prop are you running and what pitch? Is it a Bravo with no vent holes?
Bump-Anybody??
Update..contacted Mercury racing and it must have been Friday at 5:00pm and miller time because the prop missed getting the second PVS holes..different one on the way and verified that it has 8...
Surely Mercury Racing didn’t cast in the prop barrel a XS part number and put a XS label on the box if it really is a FS..i am wondering if they made a change and dont do the 8 holes anymore due to...
I just unboxed my new Bravo XS 26 pitch prop..the prop box has the correct XS label on it and the part number stamped on the prop is correct for the XS prop..here is where i am stumped, it only has 4...
I have a 26 Bravo XS coming to try on my 2020 Lynx with a 300 Pro XS 4S..for those who have tried this prop what PVS plug setup works best..i have read some that say plug solid 2 holes opposite sides...
