I think bass tournaments are the best it gets at a crowded ramp - everyone seems to know the way it works. But throw in recreational boaters when the weather warms up, and it gets pretty chaotic.
Thanks- it was an ugly duckling that turned into a swan. Took a long time for my wife to not think I bamboozled her lol. She wanted a neighborhood house, and I needed some space.
On my 5th of 7 years. Very few things I've spent money on have made me this happy.
So ours was painted a tan color when we got it.

We added on, and painted it white, with black trim. We love it now. Something about a soft white painted brick that looks great. We're...
Just water them with a bucket of salt water every night. Eventually they won't be a problem.
Ours is painted white. These days, having it repainted isn't that horrible - they do it in 2-3 days with sprayers. If you use good paint, it makes it a lot easier to clean. We figure 7-9 years, maybe...
I'm sad to hear that. I've never fished anywhere better for big bluegill than that.
I'd hate to know how many huge bluegill I've caught in those cypress trees on the north end of Lake Verret. My dad would take 4 of us in our aluminum boat, and I'd sit up front and scull with a short...
Grew up in that swamp. Got a nice scholarship to college doing my science fair project on sediment pollution there. Most of my best childhood memories have something to do with different parts of the...
Disappointed to read this. Was hoping for better. I had heard a few similar things before I made my last TM purchase.
I can't realky tell any difference between my Quest and my older model Ultrexes. Is there a new motor that turns the head? The foot pedal is virtually identical. Both have worked well for FFS.
If money is a problem now, it will be a bigger problem when you get the hospital bill for several injured fingers. The saw stop is a loss prevention device lol.
I agree with this. The motor is quieter. The bracket is a bit beefier. Other than that, they basically just used all of the same stuff off of the other Ultrex. It's a marginal upgrade, and now up to...
I can't even imagine. Every building is a demo and start over situation. Every business shut down.

Drone video from Oklahoma tornado last night. Just wow.
We have 4 houses, and 3 of the 4 had sucessful nesting this year. We now have baby geese, baby ducks, purple martins laying eggs, and our killdeer babies are starting to fly. Been our best bird year...
Wondering if that pole in front is for independent FFS, or if its on the troller.
Yea it's a good idea. I think there was one re design on one of the boards in 2017 or 18 but don't quote me. I had a bad run with them. They were all repaired at the service center, with me standing...
I don't think there is any difference between a followup and a "checkup" visit. Unlike after a surgery, there are no global periods where visits are included. If he wanted to see you again, it was...
Hard to beat the good ol Bandit 300. Small hooks make it pretty easy to use in cover. I've got a bunch of them.
I'm not good with it - that's my point. Having to bring it to a service center every time for the same problem, when they are only open during my work hours, is a major ordeal. I was just thinking of...
That's what I've heard. When you look at how it's designed, it just seems like it would be inherently unreliable. Guess they have a different experience overall than I've had personally, thus no...
My experience is having to replace three of these board in the last 6 years out of warranty. For the same issue every time. I was just thinking of an easy way to address a known failure point. Do you...
I agree. It's a lot of little things to disconnect and keep track of, plus time in a tournament or the night before fixing it. It would be cool if the boards were encased in a cartridge that just...
