You can do it. It just takes time and patience. When its real hazy its a 2 or 3 step process by the time you wet sand, then 1 or 2 steps of buffing compound then wax. Avoid wet sanding if possible...

Just make sure you are tighteneing the side bolts to the right torque after each adjustment. I have had one for a season and adjusted alot when prop testing. Never had a problem.
