I use a 3000 mh booster on my 1000cca battery and my 250 still turns over slow. First fire each day may take 5 seconds. After that 1-2 seconds and it fires.

The reason I ask is that the "good used" TM1 is easier to find and half the price of a TM2. Is the shift shaft difference a big issue?

I'm looking for information on the reverse:

Can you run a Gen 1 TM on a newer motor that came with a Gen 2?

I have a 2004 3.3L F200. Is there a simple way to wring more power out of it? Can I use a 225 or 250 ECU? I know the 250 has variable valve timing, etc. What ECU will work?

I have a Torque Master l/u with 3 side holes. I thought this was unique to a Gen 1 lower but I ran across an ad for a "Gen 2" for sale that also has 3 holes each side.

I've seen TM's with 5 holes...

I ran it on a Allison Grand Sport. I also had one (30") on a Liberator tunnel hull with a 300xs. Ran great

Unknown hours. They appeared to be indexed properly. Gaps were all too wide. from .030 to .037.
