Well it wasn't the dealer's fault that's for sure. I wasn't measuring correctly. Bill Day came to my house and personally measured it with me. It was my faulty measurement. It really was a little shy...

Thanks will do tonight. I did call the dealer and go ahead and order an 8 inch jack plate. From what I read, iy should be set with the prop at 3.5 inches below the pad right?
