I'm now using True Coat epoxy so far working great.
My wife's father was a waist gunner on B-17, was on 24th mission got shoot down. Was then captured and held prisoner for 9 months be fore being released.
I use a polishing cotton wheel. I never clear coat bills, I think it affects the action if the lure. I also use a polishing compound from Harbor Freight made for plastic. I use painters tape to cover...
I polish bills till clear ,then use 0000 steal wool over seams, then prime and paint [ clean with alcohol before painting]
Who uses the Evoke 1.2 and what do you think it's action?

Make sure nothing in way when putting together. Then check for machining bits not sticking up anywhere.
