The Raxor has an insert, correct. Lots of grip in turns. I have two PTP, 24p and 26p, both VMX.
6". Same as the manual plate the boat came with.
No, they stay on deck -- that's generally the idea with the direction they open in.
I haven't had any. Had the pleasure of running into some silly wake boat wakes as well, and she handled them...
The rod lockers flipping up were part of what sold me on the boat -- I enjoy the access when the boat is in the shop and I need access to the rods. I'm going into year 2 of ownership and so far no...
New high score w/ the Raxor 4XL 25p.

I still enjoy mine. Good, solid boat. 93.5" beam is smaller than what? 19'4" Nitro is 94". 20'7" Gambler is 93.5". Seems to me like it varies, and no I haven't found a ~94" beam to be a problem.
Finally got a chance to stretch it's wings with the 25p Raxor 4XL. Weather has cooled back down into the 70's and the engine is breathing better. Achieved 77mph @ 6062 rpm. Needs to be driven at this...
My F195 gets on plane with a PTP VMX 3 blade 26p, so I don't see why planing would be a problem with the 25p fury on your boat. It may be lazy and you may not like the overall performance compared to...
2.5" to 3" ptp provided good holeshot with no prop blow out. As you get closer to 2" ptp it would blow out as the boat planed, so would pick up rpm and then settle and take off. I honestly preferred...
I shared my prop testing details here http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=1178887
I run the VMax SHO. Finally had the opportunity to play with 3 props. The boat came w/ a PTP VMX 3 blade 24p. I bit the bullet and talked to Mark, got his Raxor 4 XL 24p. I also got my hands on a PTP...
My F195 has been just a hair shy of 77mph. It might get squirrely around ~75, depending on the prop I'm running and conditions.
I can fit a 7'6" into the casting locker. The tubes are removable and you can fit way more rods and 8' rods no problem.
What setback on your plate? I'm looking to replace my manual one (which is 4" right now). Rarely run over 65 as it's super stable in the mid/high 60's, but starts to want to walk in the 70's.
Enjoying my 21 F195. Very good performance, required some jackplate adjustments. Probably need to do a hydro in the future. Achieving low 70's very easily with my gear, full wells and two people in...
