Thanks for confirming.
Disregard. There's no doubt the alarm was because the main tank was at minimum. Likely issue is a clog in the lines. I ordered new lines for the tank. Will pull it, drain it, clean it, install...
Hello
Probably a dumb question, but this is the first time I've ever had two separate fuel tanks.
On the DMS switch panel there is a fuel button with port and starboard LEDs. That will just...
Update... on another forum someone had a nearly identical issue (minus the starting issue). Suggestions were (consistent with my observation) the main oil tank level was too low. Assuming this to...
Howdy folks
Would greatly appreciate insight to what happened today. In previous threads I addressed a "no start" issue. Not quite sure of what actually I did to resolve it, but got it resolved....
Lol 99R93S... I'm guessing that boat is about 30%!
I forgot to mention in previous posts to ask if it has been in salt water. I've never had a boat that has seen salt water, but I've seen a lot of videos about it.
Also, if you have never seen it,...
24K with a 4-stroke... I would probably jump on that as well. Down here I paid 27K for mine and it had the original motor (low hours for the age though).
Good luck with it. Hope all goes well.
If your warranty covers EVERYTHING for that year.... that's a pretty good deal for a 12 year old motor. Do a thorough walk around and look at that trailer (if you can). This was mine after I got it...
Thank you 99R93S... that was a compliment.
Another thing to consider since you live well north of me. My previous boat was a 2008 Tracker Marine Tahoe with at 5.7L Mercruiser. That was gifted to...
Hello. Skeeters may or may not be perfect, but I have had two and I would go for a 3rd one if it ever comes about. I currently have a 2007 20i that is new to me and it still has the original HPDI...
Thanks for the info. Two things so far... The bilge pump out (through hull) fitting and another one (not sure what it is for) are broken. Hunting replacements for them now. Had to take the back of...
oops. Had my tank descriptions backwards.
Thanks for the info. I had no alarms. I was just surprised the (corrected terms) main tank got as low as it did.
Took the boat out recently and everything worked. Main oil tank was at maximum level. Remote tank was at max level as well. I know the pump is working as the toggle switch behind the tank pumped...
Could the fill pumps leak without turning them on? That particular day was a test day for the boat. Didn't get to do much fishing so I never turned on livewell pumps.
Will look into fineline and flash tape.
Yes... will look at the FB page.
Thanks to all
I put it on the water this weekend and it worked as it should. It ran a little rough so I have a few things to check including the shift switch (or whatever it is called) that kills #2 and #3 in...
Roger that. I have a large aluminum plate that has the charger attached and Power Pole hydraulic pumps right in front of that. This is going to be... fun. :praying:
will do. Thanks
Cool. Appreciate the info. Will start looking this weekend.
Thank you
Yes, that is definitely on the list to verify/eliminate. Will pull boat back into the driveway this weekend, weather permitting.
However, I thought I updated this thread... shame on me. Got the...
I just got my boat on the water...finally (see other threads for the adventure). It worked reasonably well. Still have work to do but it is useable at least.
When I pulled it out of the water...
Put it on the water this morning. It ran a little rough, but it ran. I didn't push it too hard this trip but everything worked as it should. I finally have a boat I can use!
Replaced o-rings, spacer, drive shaft collar, and spacer. All works as expected. Who woulda thunk?
More involved... I could go into my previous "gifted" boat that qualifies as "more than expected...and more expensive". :) Thanks again
