It does have a fuel smell to it. The thing is after that first hour I've run it 5500 - 5900 RPM fluctuating as specified. I've even taken it on long 40 minute run. Based on the NMEA temp on my Helix,...

New 200 SHO with 8 hours. Dipstick shows almost 1/4" over fill line. As the title says, what do most do in this situation? I fish through most of December so still quite a few outings to go.
Thanks again, all. I ordered (2) of the Mid-Atlantic V1-VX cards. After reading your comments I don't see a need for the aerial view. If I did I could just use my phone and Google Maps satellite view.
Do you guys recommend the Premium cards with the aerial view?
Thanks Wayne. Guess I need to buy mid Atlantic. So odd Hartwell in on that one.
I have Helix G4N units. I want to get Dale Hollow, Hartwell, Cumberland, Guntersville, Wilson, and Ky Lake maps. What chip do I need? I have Lakeamster Plus V3 but I can't get lakes to show up.
Thanks folks. Tinned it is.
If I was to crimp first would there be enough gaps to then get some solder in there?
What do you all use in your boat battery compartment? I'm going to move some things around and will be making new cables.
Picture was taken during winter draw down.
That's brave. Here in some parts of KY you'd have some good'ol boy shoot at ya.
Admittedly, my first reaction was "there went at least $1200". Then I thought about the safety.
I use mine as a stand alone unit, only for the FFS. Software is up to date. I waited about 30 seconds for it to shut off after I noticed it was still on.
Record long post, Sorry.
currently own a new 819 w/ '24 SHO. I've never owned or fished from the Ranger you mentioned so keep that in mind.
The 819 has 1 large front center tackle section,...
I've just been using what has worked for me, and I've had no issues with Red Label. I am curious, though, what is "the best line"? I'm not opposed to trying new ones.
It does, and then I tap Power Off (or whatever the verbiage is) and it didn't work. So then I tried to hold the power button down and a "progress bar" appeared and advanced as I held the power...
I do, and have for about 3 years now. No issues on 8 - 10 lbs.
I would think it's not illegal so long as the HP is at or below the USCG tag from the manufacturer for that particular vessel. Way off from the OP questions but a fun topic (re-flashing for more HP).
When done fishing and heading back to the ramp, I went to power down the bow 126sv unit. No matter what I did (hold down or press power down) it would not power off. I had to kill the main power to...
Great point. I hope I did not give the impression you shouldn't, or don't need to register, because I think you should, and in some cases may need to. I was just stating my experience this week.
I cant speak for all items on the boat, but here is what my dealer told me when I bought my boat in July
"We take care of the registration and warranty on the boat, trailer, and engine. You need...
So I'm not too proud to say I overlooked something. This morning before work I went to the garage and started poking around. Here is what I found. The boat came with the bow HB10 and dash HB12...
That was for my TR-196, which I sold. I now have a '24 Phoenix 819.
So if the heading line is the direction the boat is traveling (yellow line), and the unit is pulling from the internal GPS (no external Heading Sensor hooked up), how do I calibrate it? On the dash...
This happens at all speeds, low and high.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Green line is pointing in direction I'm running, but boat is showing I'm doing a power slide with the yellow line pointing in the front of the boat (wrong direction)....
