Totally agree - if not on FS1 or 2, they could at least show it on Live Mix.
I don’t know if it’s the secret color, but it’s a great color!
Yes - nothing on TV or the website until weigh-in
I’ve been enjoying it. Live Mix has had some great guest commentators, including John Crews, Mike McClelland, Ike and Ish. They’ve had some interesting insight, in addition to the TV coverage.
Love the Lindners - they always explained what they were doing and why.
I agree - it’s pretty disjointed between 3 different TV channels and the website. And at least what I’m seeing online right now is from yesterday. I’ll just stick with online.
Thanks! I did see No Country and totally agree. Terrific movie!
Finally saw Hell or High Water last night. Wow that was a great movie. Can’t believe it took me this long to see it.
If I remember correctly, he said that pieces or particulate from the foam clogged his livewell intake?
That’s awesome! I spent hours and hours with these as a kid. Still remember when the Navarone Mountain Tower Set came out - I thought I’d died and gone to Heaven!
I’ll shower. Enough things to worry about in life. This ain’t one of them.
I totally agree with this. I use a lot of spinning tackle for smallmouth fishing in ultra-clear water and don’t think I even own a reel smaller than a 3000.
Take the bar exam. Thank God LOL
Exactly! Man, I loved (and love) that show.
Yes - that is a pretty neat article. It also made clear that although some bass will spend most of the year (other than spawning) in a relatively confined area, other bass will cover miles and miles...
Wow - that is one heck of a fish, and one heck of a catch!!
Was it the Imokemushi Cue Bomb made by Geecrack? I don’t think it’s on the market yet, but should be released some time this month.
This is exactly right. If you’re using light baits (eg, hair jig), smaller diameter line = better casting distance. And it also lets the bait get down faster - so if I’m dropshotting in 60 ft in...
I loved that show - the skits they did sometimes were hilarious. I remember one where Zona portrayed a nightmare co-angler on the back of Guy Eaker’s boat. Had me in stitches.
Actually, if you had a dollar for every one of these “Can you believe how expensive bass boats are these days”-type posts, you could probably afford a new one too!
What did you do to tweak the transducer? I feel like my Active Target should be picking it up better and I can’t figure out how what the issue is. Thanks!!
Yes, but you’re judging distance without a shoreline landmark or other visible hard object to base it on. If I see a fish on FFS 80 ft away from the boat, nailing that cast at 80 ft. in open water...
A ball head jig will work just fine, as long as it has a 90 degree line tie. That also lets you hover the bait above the fish. Lots and lots of soft plastics options out there - and I’m sure more...
I totally agree. The other thing it shows, and I’ve learned from marshaling, is that often they can’t tell whether it’s a bass or some other type of fish.
