Have you tried turning them off (or on too) with the remote? See if the issue is isolated to the panel, or beyond that.

I’ve knocked mine with a dead-blow without success. Had to use a jack, a socket (spacer), and my truck’s bumper to slowly press it out.
Obvious - greased the shaft? If it’s tight, perhaps an out of spec hub or a slightly bent shaft? Or a burr on the shaft or in the hub?

Pull that button switch panel and see which spade connectors pulled off their tabs on the backside. Once you push them back on, give them a squeeze with pliers to tighten them up a bit.
