Good point, I guess I'll stay with the 10 pitch
Tim they say that going down 1 inch in pitch will raise the RPM by about 200,is it going to be easier on my engine running a 9 pitch and hitting about 6050 wide open ? I know I can troll a little...
The book said's Max RPM is 5300-6300, every thing I read saids that you want to be close to your max so your not laboring the engine. With a 10 pitch I'm at 5850 so my question is should I go down 1...
Thanks Tim
Drain hose from fuel cooler
Thanks but I still can't find it
Heres a pic
Under the power head there is a pink hose, about 1/4 inch that goes to something but I don't know what ?
It comes from inside and is just hanging out , I have looked at video's and it looks to go on...
Thanks to Moonlighter, I will think about it as I have already drills my holes in the transom. Thanks again
Yes Tim same prop. I have it trimed out to the last hole, now I wonder if ? Straight down I did 15, 1 hole out 18 and the last hole 20
.I don't think power trim would be worth it for 1 or 2 more MPH
Played with the trim, 20 MPH fully loaded, very happy
Well I went fishing today and played with the trim settings. 2 guys about 215 each and I came on plane nicely and got 20 MPH. Very happy with this, I can always learn something
A gentleman on a different page told me I should try a 9 pitch as it might let me wind up better as the 10 could be holding my RPM's down. My boat is a glass 13/6 ft tri-hull, what brand prop would...
Looking for a 9-1/4X9 prop for my motor the stock 10 pitch doesn't get it
thanks
Tim I understand that, maybe I need more motor ? I had a boat just like this in 1980 with a johnson 15 2 stroke and it was faster then this 20
Tim did you happen to try a 11 or 12 pitch prop ?
I have a new Suzuki 20 on my glass tri-hull that weights about 325.The boat is a 1983 Troller which is 13 ft 6. I only have about 7 hrs on the motor so it's not like I open it up and stay there but...
I thought about that for my Suzuki 20 so I called and they said 330 CCA and never use a Lithum. Now my 20 has a charger, just saying
I might go look at one of these, I believe it's an 85. What do you guys think of Fisher boats
