85 PSI is low but if they are all like that I would say the gauge he is using is off or may not be doing the test correctly. The 200 Optimax is a good motor I would get it for that deal, plenty of HP...

What's wrong with your EFI?
Yes, mount it in the middle holes, and like said above don't use a Fury, Tritons run better with a Tempest.
Yes, they work for about 2 years then quit holding a charge.
No, as long as you don't go above the factory RPM limit.
I would go with the Lowe 178 with the 90, that will be a great boat if you decide to take it anywhere else as well.
Nice, now flash it to a 300hp.
I bought all of mine used with cash and I haven't had that problem.
Let me know if you figure it out.
I ran 3 gallons of it though my old Optimax and it did fine, switched back to Pennzoil after that.
SHOs typically run 4-5 MPH faster than a Verado.
Possibly ball joints, jack the wheel up and put a large pry bar under the tire and pry up and down to see if there is any play in them. The tie rods, idler arm and pittman arm are notorious for...
Have you tried it flashed with the Yamaha prop? Those props give you good lift and you should be able to turn it 6000-6200 RPM and get 75 at least out of it. If not you have to change your setup some...
6200 RPM with a 25P prop only going 71 MPH means you have quite a bit of prop slip, about 15% which isn't good, if you can get down below 10 percent It will do much better.
How much stuff do you have on the bow and do you have lithium batteries in the rear? That boat should run high 70s at least with a flashed SHO on it.
I would flash that motor and stay with the SHO 3 blade.
Get one with an SHO and you will be good to go.
Should have sent them in back in November or December not now. Why would you wait unil Spring to do that?
Get a used boat with a good motor like a Mercury EFI or Yamaha OX66 or even a later model Optimax and run it. Plenty out there, I got my 2012 Triton with a 2017 225hp Mercury on it for 25K. Whatever...
Agreed, how else would you put your fish back in the water?
My experience was the same back when I always used trailer hooks, in the past couple years I have quit using them and it has made no difference in hooking the fish. My thoughts are the ones that were...
Radar already exists.
There is nothing new about a buzz bait or the trailers people use on them.
Zoom Horny toad or Z craw.
Find a different dealer or have them show you that in writing. That's not the same response I got from Tracker when I contacted them about the same thing.
