Two thoughts, one, it could still be balancing. Two go ahead and discharge it a bit, then leave it on the charger and let the BMS do it's thing.
My only complaint is they melt together when stored in my boat during the summer. Other than that, they're pretty awesome for specific applications
Did you buy the Group 24 batteries w/Bluetooth, or do you have some other monitor to measure SOC?
I wouldn't have any concerns doing either. They're working on a 24v ~60Ah as well. I have a 50Ah video in the link below, still using it today. I have two more 100Ah LiTimes to mess with
They better crank up the livescope voltage until the fish start jumping in the boat like they are supposed to!
It's gotta be exhausting to be perfect for everyone all of the time. :nanner:
Can you post a picture of what you have going?
There are some realllly nice Group 24 or even 50Ah lithium batteries available these days. About 20# a piece and not much more than a new pair of lead acids.
I charge mine the night before I need it, typically. I don't care to let them store at 100% in any extreme heat or cold.
Along with the NOCO already mentioned, Schumacher makes a pretty solid portable charger. There are a lot of poorly built ones on Amazon, I'd stick with a name brand.
What sort of battery are you trying to charge? Lead-Acid/AGM or a lithium as well?
I've always assumed full pool since my Navionics Vision+ references lake level. I would expect you can go to an area and compare the actual depth to the contour map depth.
I heard the M/K props on a Garmin are "louder". I've not confirmed that personally, but I went to the Garmin prop when I read that.
Correct. That battery will take everything the alternator will throw at it, "reputable" or not.
Agree, you can assume your 3x Lead Acids are the "same" as a 36v 50Ah battery. So going to a 60Ah is an increase in run-time (and of course, cycle life too).
Are your current 100Ah batteries lithium? Lead acid or AGM?
I run a single 36v MillerTech, there's a video on it in my signature YouTube link. Yesterday I fished from 630-315 running a Garmin...
The stock prop is pretty terrible in the grass, I did put this weedless prop on and it made a huge difference
Must have grabbed the wrong link - this is their 25a version.. I've not used this, but I've been considering it.
is the Victron relatively waterproof? I've been looking at this Schumacher 25a, it's "weatherproof", but looks like a reasonable option
I would have broken mine off of the motor head trolling through timber in Ray Roberts by now.
Same chemistry of lithium? Same cell type (rectangular prismatic, pouch, cylindrical)?
If you can verify they are both a very similar measured capacity it can work. Some companies take their...
300 is way overkill for 6" anything.
this may help

I wouldn't mess too much with different chemistry batteries. Scooter batteries are typically less stable chemistries..
Not bubbas for me, at least their side cutters are t-e-r-r-i-b-l-e!
