In my opinion. Mount it on the stern. I mounted mine on the pie shaped carpeted area on the driver side. Be sure to change the source for GPS on any console mounted Lowrance unit to use the Point 1....

I am pretty sure that there will be a reduction of what I can spin the 24p Fury 4 once the NC heat and humidity hits. Therefore, I'm thinking that the 23p or 24p Fury 3 may be the summer prop....

I only remember one tube extending between the console and the bow. Wmitch2 is correct as there is another tube that runs from the bow but ends at the starboard side (built-in) navigation light....
