thats a return line..and its already went through your motor..thats the scary part..mine was not hurt like that but was clogged pretty good and so was fuel pump

your fuel pump has a screen on the bottom...not a bad idea to check that also

i will check on that date later in the morning...i know evinrude put a new powerhead and lower end on it in early 2012 under warranty at or around 42 hours...but i understand it could be same...

i did clean the inline little filter in the return line today...it was pretty dirty..which i heard could mess up fuel pressure....but i will check 2moro..i had to come home after that...boat stays in...
