I thinks that's probably the issue here. I see pulsating rings a 2 or 3 times per second. That's probably a multiple or division of frequency issue. I have no idea how to get rid of it....

Wayne,
That is the frequency that is send bij Mega Live , apparently the sensors do also receive and record this 417khz frequency of the PS30
I found out that the ps30 frequency is 417khz. Anyone knows the frequency range that the Mega Live picks up? Is tha somehow adjustable?
Hi,
I use a Garmin +PS30 ánd a Helix12 + ML. After the latest software update I still experience very much interference from my Garmin PS30 sensor on my Mega Live. I see much pulsating rings in...
perfect video of Doug.
Seeing it I think it would basicly be the best to use side imaging without the watercolomn showing. practice is that while fishing I always leave watercolomn on.... putting...
i think the signal/receiver is much stronger towards the center of the beam. if the transmission angle is indeed 120deg then it should hit the surface of the water when the sensor is clicked up...
Interesting topic!
Can adjusting the frequency range as rnvinc has done indeed have a positive effect on the SI/DI image? Does anyone else have experience with it?
Interesting question
Is there an order of install we should follow? It now seems like first ML should be updated to V1.200 and there after the Helix to V2.800. Does the order matter?
I think there is room for improvement. The original software showed the best solid returns on my ML but also had the most problems with stability. The latest software is very stable. downside is that...
no, no need for that. a proper software update can further improve the images i think
I understand that harder surfaces reflect better then soft. Harder surface will absorb less soundwaves and reflect them. A hardbait reflects therefor better then a soft swimbait or worm. But adding a...
Tested it today. Sensor works like a charm with wet switches on the under side. Thanks.
Ok, thats great. I always thought that they also marked the frontside or topside of the sensor. But if that is not the case i can turn it the way I want it.
Yes i mean those wet switches. It doesnt matter if they are on the up or downside when in forward mode?
I have mounted the ML on a hand mount on the portside (lefthand side) of my boat. When in downmode the round side of the sensor is at the boatside. So I guess the ML is primarily looking under my...
What is running on that one lithium battery, only unit and mega live? Or more units?
my helix 12 shows this annoying ray of interferance. Does anyone know what could be causing this and how I can fix it?
I see constant rays and flashing circles. The unit is set in meters

Ok, Thanks! That puts it in perspective. I'll definately try this setting as a startingpoint.
It would be nice to have a bit more support from HB about what angle to use best for particular depth...
looks good! any idea what kind of fish and size that was to put the size of the signal in perspective?
Are you sure you didn't switch sens and contrast numbers? I always thought for clear waters...
Hi guys,
Any of you have experience and tips for best settings for using ML in forward mode in deeper waters? I am fishing a crystal clear lake. I fish it at depths of 30-40ft deep. What is your...
Thanks SlYDoggie,
That's not what I want. I will think about making some kind of mask myself then. It's got to be something that I can easely put on and take off.
Anyone got an Idea?
I also have the interference problem when fishing shallow water with my Mega Live. Now I want to put "the mask" on the transducer
Question: Does it have any effect (limited signals) in down...
I was sleeping and fishing I found out it was clearly a bug in the new 2.660 update. I reported it to the experts from HB. I got a reply and thanks for reporting it. HB will probably repair it...
I just found out what the problem is.
