shouldn't be a problem replacing would check for broken wire first
does it have a limit switch installed in trim system under cowling , possible problem
fuse link tested ??? all fuses checked on engine ???? need to replace wing nuts with stainless nuts and lock washers
i hate um , seen several powerheads lost from h2o in oil tank , be warned
low compression , broken reed valve
so your saying the the trim motor stops working at trim limit sounds like broken wire
batt supplies voltage, alt charges batt , engine must have batt voltage supplied and to run , do not disconnect engine from batt when running
shifter switch nothing wrong on engine if it works fine at cowl switch
outboard cable adjustment
2-4 lbs idling
adjust cable away from direction of rattle cause 2 -3 turns of barrel
:thumb up2:
do both reach 130 + and cycle ????
yes
good luck welcome to the end of the rope
WAYNE do you have any bow lift problems above 60 mph
got mine yesterday along with electric 7.5 motor manuel
do you have another crank position sensor to try ???? is the paint good on flywheel /no rust on teeth
pmed ya .... interrested
recommend replacing all components, inspect cyl closely for any scaring also:rolleyes:
yes sir must have batt voltage to run ,never disconnect batt with it running
we have seen some yes especially on boats that set for extended periods of time
:thumb up2: report back
+1 right there
pull the reed plate check it out the tiniest speck can cause reed stuck open
