What is the heat alarm threshold for when it will emit a warning sound?
Also, can anyone tell me which bank the temp reading is pulled from when displayed on the...
I installed a KeelShield on my old boat, years ago. Took about an hour. I installed it in 2005. The current owner is a friend and the KeelShield; it's still there, almost 19 years later.
Very nice!
:beers:
I'm surprised that BASS and MLF don't have stricter compliance to NMMA visibility requirements for their competitors' boats. You have to be pretty tall to see over a 16" display while under way. Some...
Mine's been in the shop since 29 Nov 2023 for a broken exhaust plate...waiting for parts. I finally opted for a used one from a BBCer. Now just waiting to get in to get it repaired.
BoatEFX does as well.
I think the issue is the charging system compatibility. Lithium batteries can't correctly interpret the feedback from older charging systems and this may cause issues. The lack of predictability is...
Argh! My boat has been in the shop since 29 Nov, waiting for parts from Mercury. Needless to say I haven't installed mine yet. SMDH
I think you're overthinking it. Just replace the current pump with the automatic one. They usually have a manual override built in that you can activate using a switch. Use the same manufacturer's...
I went with a SeaStar on my 94 361V and let me tell you...out of all the many modifications I did to that boat, the hydraulic steering was, by far, the best. Much easier to drive over all and easy to...
Mine was a '94.

Awesome tip, Don!
I was able to fit 7ft rods in the port locker of my 361V. Based on my attempts to store my 7'6" flippin' stick in said locker, a 7'4" would've fit.
Thanks, Don!
I'm having the dealer do it but I'll relay the tips. You never can have too much info.
I had a 94 361V. It was a damned nice boat. Great fishing platform and I ran 67MPH GPS with a 150XRi and a 25P Tempest. If it was a 20 footer I'd still have it. The 361V is one of the best boats...
My 361V had wood encased in 'glass on the deck and lids. The transoms on all boats from 1988 on are all fiberglass, but some wood was still used for other parts of the boat.
Use this link to go to the EZ Parts Web. Enter your serial number and browse the parts diagrams for the coil.
I found a very clean used one.
Thanks, BBC!

I have a Craftsman 1/2" impact driver with a torque tube on it and it works great for tire changes. I keep it under the back seat of my truck right next to the bottle jack. There are a number of...

BLUF: Only run as fast as you safely can. Same as guys who run wide open through fog. Sure, GPS may keep you from running aground. But, it won't tell you if there's a boat, barge, or even a floating...
