So...being universal, can I also assume the Garmin GPS 24xd will also work on a Lowrance network?
I am starting to plan my migration to Garmin...
It's the holiday season, so here is one of my wishes this year...
Is there a way to use a Lowrance Point-1 antenna on a Garmin nmea network
or Garmin GPS 24xd antenna on a Lowrance nmea network?
Definitely much slower.
With a strong north wind blowing water up the river out of the bay, it can almost seem to stand still.
Auxiliary is the front fill. Main tank is the back fill.
Anyone have a good source for information on 2023 open bass tournaments in Michigan?
Haven't seen anything posted on the BBC tournament forum or other sites.
2001 Triton 205.
Plenty of room for 7' rods on the front deck.
My bass boat on sreroids.

I have Lowrance sonar units connected to a Motorguide Xi5.
I purchased the Xi5 a few years ago, before forward facing sonar. I love the Xi5, but........
To my knowledge, there is no option to...
Love my multi-species sled

Does it have pinpoint gps?
I own a 2001 Triton 205 dual console.
Large front console, drop-in rear casting deck, etc. etc.
It functions and handles like a bass boat, but can also handle big water when needed.
I bought it...
I switched from my bass boat to a multi-species about 9 years ago and have NEVER looked back.
I have a Triton 205 with an Evinrude 225HO and a 15hp kicker.
Inland lakes for Bass,...
Would be interesting depending on date, etc. Something close for me.
Here is my definition of multi-species. A trolling motor and casting decks for bass and panfish (ok, pike and muskie too), kicker motor and side planer boards for walleye and downriggers for...
WOT with my 15hp kicker is 6 mph on the GPS. Man, that slicks the hair back!!! :nanner:
Otherwise I run just over 60 with a 25 pitch Merc High Five on my Evinrude 225 HO.
Pretty good for a big...
Nothing like a little friendly rivalry between the bass and multi-species guys.
To anyone fishing big water, my opinion, once you go multi-species, you will never go back to a bass boat.
Triton...
I will probably regret this one, but it is all in fun..... so I'll stir the pot a bit more. :stirthepot:
The multi-species guys will be high and dry when the big water gets too rough for the baby...
A few years ago I jumped from a Cajun 185D bass boat to a Triton 205 and could not have made a better choice. Great ride on both inland and great lakes of Michigan.
Mainly chasing smallmouth and...
You might want to check out either of these two clubs. I know many of the guys in both. Either one would be a good choice. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

Those things are "get out the filet knife" good! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
Thanks guys. Based on the unanimous response, I will learn to love Tennessee. Time to find some 3m filament tape and rod wrap. The next question to answer over the winter is a spinning reel. I...
I just brought home a 6'6" spinning rod with a Tennessee handle (a deal too good to pass up http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif ). I have never had a rod with a Tennessee handle...
I have a 2001 Evinrude Ficht 225 that blew the #6 cylinder. I'm looking for a recommendation on whether to fix it, sell it as it is, part it out or just shoot it!
Probably Saginaw Bay or Wixom for me.
I happen to have an '01 Evinrude Ficht. My dealer just checked it out and says I blew cylinder #6. Time to part it out or sell as a whole. If you need extra parts for your 99, I may have an option...
