Found a trailer repair shop in the Western MA area, they say the frame of the trailer is slightly bent. Makes no sense I didn’t hit anything but oh well. Can’t find any marine repair services in my...
Thanks! Is there a specific way to check for a weak spring? It seems level on the ground except for boat leaning towards one direction.
Thanks Johnny...the corner of the tail light is hitting somehow....boat sits too far to the right for some reason. I think Bill's answer above may be on to something.
That's a good question I haven't been able to figure out. Bunks are even on both sides, measurements from bunks to trailer are same on both sides, but it won't load correctly.
It is the back right corner of the boat.
Scraped the edge of my trailer loading...first couple of times I barely noticed it...but it keeps getting a little worse each time I take it out. How bad is this...should I be thinking about getting...
I hate this trailer - it loads worse every year - now my starboard side is always 1/2 a mm from the right tail light every time, even when the boat is 100% centered on the bow roller.
Loaded my RT188 on a windy day and of course she loaded crooked. Notice a small scrape on the weld at the starboard stern - the corner of the boat nicked the trailer tail light section of the...
Wow - this is some good stuff - will try it next time.
Weird situation happened to me yesterday....was idling through a shallow area and prop hit a rock pile w/ my 115 Etec (1st gen). I immediately turned motor off and trimmed up to do a damage...
It's only 4 months old though?
Interstate cranking - its not top of the line but it was fully charged and in good condition when I put it away for the winter. The trolling motor batteries were not disconnected and charged right up...
I went out to plug batteries on my NocoGenius charger to make sure batteries are staying at a good level through the winter. Boat is wrapped so this is first time I have been inside (have a zipper...
Amazon has 4.5 stars with 476 reviews - but you are probably right - a $20 part is a $20 for a reason.
Hi all - put in new OUHL $20 30 AMP main breaker in my boat last August of '21, the boat is a 2013 and the old breaker went. Less than 1 year and the new breaker is acting up, I flipped it on today...
Thanks for the info- much appreciated
I've got a 2013 115 E-tec 1st generation. I noticed that after getting up on plane and going about 25 - 35 mph, when I come off plane, my motor will emit whitish/gray smoke - overheat alarm never...
Anyone put a powerpole/talon on an RT188? Doesn't seem like its an option on the 2021 RT188 website - wondering if anyone has done this with older models?
Dude you are the man! I've got a 2013 RT188 (bought it in '17) and that bastard has been soaking wet for years!
Anyone buy one yet ? How do they like it?
I hear you man - same here. Bought my boat when it was 4 yrs old, was "pristine" till I actually started using the OB on regular basis. Would shit the bed 50% of the time.
Florida - thanks for the solid words of advice. I get it - break out another thousand isn't a saying for a reason - it just every time I take it out, something else breaks. That is not normal, even...
Was out on Champlain in some heavy wind/waves this weekend. 2/3 screws in my plastic trolling motor tray backed out, seems like the screw holes in the tray wore out and got too big. Trolling motor...
Damn I feel stupid, the angles on the hull make their glass look aluminum to me
