3 trannys? Wow.......there were/are bad ones from that timeframe but lightning striking in the same place 3 times? Were these all OEM trannies or rebuilds?

Only seemed to get 2 years out of the Everstarts on any boat I owned. The VMAX AGM's on Amazon are built like tanks and they are what I have at the moment. Going to LiTime lithiums as they crap out.

The Fortex is a great motor but the spot lock bit via Ghost in 2022. I do miss the simplicity of the Fortrex but the spot lock is the feature which transcends all the rest.
