Pflueger being a rebirthed American brand namesake that has been 100% OEM since their Phoenix rose from the ashes...
Is absolutely not "sub-contracting their OEM contract" to BPS.

PE Firms, in general, aren't good for carrying over and retaining the standards of legendary brands...
I believe that the PA will be a bit more crisp and likely a slightly faster taper. Make sure to take that into consideration as well.
Bump for this outstanding and superb performing XH rod...
I will also be open to working out a trade for a Steez Universal Power or other high end 7'4"+ heavy powered baitcaster.
IIRC, Matt and Tim on TB use the 7'7" H Mod-fast with braid for their full sized A-Rig and 6" Magdrafts.
They just put out a video about a week ago and the 7'7" model was being touted as one of...
Rod, handle, guides and overall blank condition = 9/5/10 and bottom foam butt 8.75/10. Liquidating to pay the Insidious Revenue Stealers.
Gamakatsu Luxxe Efreet B74XH-F MADE IN JAPAN.

Thanks brother... unfortunately with the Pirate Ship app that I used, this was the only option available to the address I was shipping to.
Anyone have any input on this inshore model for 1 oz - 2.5 oz wake baits, rats and bull shad type baits? I'll also use it for 5.8" and longer soft paddletails with a beast hook.
Curious about UPS, I shipped out on 4/24/24 Wed 2-day air and it still takes five days to get to its location? I also learned that UPS doesn't deliver on the weekends, so 2-day is worthless unless...
Depends on the brand/model of braid. If it's PP or 832, it should be fine. If it's YGK X8 Upgrade, IMO, that's way too thin. I think if you use a more standard U.S. spec braid in the 15-20 range,...
Good tip Drew...I braid tie the R-bend on essentially all of my spinnerbaits and buzzbaits before they hit the water. This is an effective way to extend the life of the wire form on the bait.
Yamaga Blanks Blue Current III 82b $175 shipped and insured to lower 48.
Yep, he said he did that as well in his original post.
OG FUEGO SOLD.
The other factor to consider and look into, is what changed ~ 8 months ago with your gear and as noted, if you got a new line spooler at that time? When I spool line I always use my forefingers to...
Man that's weird...are you perhaps threading the line though one of the metal frames and missing the guide itself?
Bump...$250 to lower 48 shipped and insured for the OG Team Daiwa Fuego 100 with all the upgrades accessories and additional Gigas 100M spool.
Good catch.
Was the braid damaged already off the spool of line? Sounds like perhaps the T-Wing may be damaging the line when it gets to a hard angle in the corner of the levelwind travel.
Bump...
The 7'7" MH moving bait rod is a true all purpose distance caster and handles everything from 3/8 - 3/4 oz chatters, 1/2 oz squarebills to 110 Whopper Ploppers, 3/8 swimjigs, Megabass...
It could also be epoxy on a guide causing it...I read this from a post a few months ago and it was enlightening as it took the poster so much trial and error and testing to finally figure this out. ...
FWIW, for me... braid+leader is a totally different rod to swimjig size application than straight fluoro or copoly.
Brovarney and North Star need to be in the conversation as well.
