The center seat is removed by taking out the screws around it. I've done it thinking I'd remove it and making that a step. I don't like walking up and down stepping on the seat. I don't know about...
I just opened the box to my cover yesterday. No ratchet straps! I'll be calling the dealer tomorrow.
Same for the back two boxes. My wife hates how she can't access the boxes well with threes rods on each side of the deck. Since we don't use the live well, she uses that for storage.
Thanks for your comments. Since it is now bass and speck season, the boat will remain in the water for about three more months. In three months I'll probably be at 100 hours. At that time I'll get...
I take notice on the Ranger web site that the RT188P has a Yamaha wiring option. I'm curious what that is all about. I wish I knew while they were building my 2024.
There is.
Any advice? Thanks!
I have a new 2024 RT188P. It has been in fresh water for 3 months at my dock in Southern Florida. I normally keep the motor up when docked. I pulled it out to do some...
Any idea why my Vessel View Mobile can't seem to keep connected. It does work, but often it needs to re-connect. Thanks, John.
Not in Florida!
I tried to get parts directly from Ranger a month ago. They told me I needed to go thru a dealer.
Not a cup package but I picked up my 2024 RT188P two weeks ago. Disappointed that the trolling motor and two finders were not NEMA connected. I purchased $80 in parts to do the job myself. My wife...
Silicone dielectric grease. On my boat, I noticed after closing the valve there was still a small gap. I press the plug in to feel that it is seated.
Thanks, I found it. I was one more pull down that I didn't know existed. In addition to choosing water temperature, to the right was an arrow that allowed me to dig deeper.
I don't know where my brand new trailer was built. It is a dual axle for a RT188P. I was surprised to see a step added to assist in getting into the boat from the bow.
New Ghost and front Elite 9. Why can't I get temperture information to show on the graph? All that shows is ---. Depth information does show. I would have thought this is part of the sonar...
For $100, I'll do it myself. That way I know it's right.
Sorry, but I'm not allowed to kick the dog or yell at the wife, so I'm going to vent here.
The boat included two FS9's and a Ghost. I would have thought they would have been networked together. ...
Thanks for your help. Dealer is 2 hour trip one way plus wait. I'll do what I expected Ranger to do. I pulled both finders to find no NEMA network. Ghost has a tee going nowhere. So I guess I'm...

I've put a lot of time trying to find the Ghost. Brand new Ranger boat. Did they short me a cable? Again, don't see the second finder on either finder and on Ghost on either.
Ghost and two FS9's were rigged at Ranger factory. Both Elite FS9 seem to be somewhat networked together. I say somewhat because they do share waypoints but I only see "this device" listed and...
I'll be picking up a new boat with a 115XS next week. This will be my first four stroke. I know the recommended fuel is minimum 87 octane. I'm planning on adding Vessel View Mobile before the...
My new boat (RT188P) went way over budget. That being the case, I only got one PP. I've never used a PP and will spend most of my time in a shallow Florida lake fishing for large mouths. How much...
