NoAl Chapter - Sign up here to fish Guntersville on November 20th

The next NoAl tournament will be held at Guntersville on the 20th of November. We'll be launching from the public ramp on Wyeth Drive in the city of Guntersville. Registration will begin at 5:30 with "ease off" at first light around 6:00 and weigh in will be at 3pm.

This will be our final tournament for the year. We'll have a short meeting after we weigh in to plan our tournament schedule for 2011. Please bring the dates of any of your other tournament trails for next year if you have them so we can try to minimize conflicting dates.

Are we gonna have a convoy from Florence the morning of the 20th?

We are staying down there on Friday and Saturday night. Going to get some Sunday am fishing in as well.

I'll probably be heading over that morning unless I stay with my brother in Elkmont. Either way, I'll have to stop off and pick up Eric somewhere around the Decatur/Athens area.

Dang it - I'd sure like to fish with you guys this month. Unfortunately, I'm still in Kansas and will be until some time in mid-to-late January.

Avery - I'd like to put in my 2 cents worth in on next year's tournament schedule. Since I live up near Scottsboro, I'd like to see a tournament on Guntersville out of the mid-lake area any month except January. There are several good free ramps in the Scottsboro area - Waterfront (always busy), Mink Creek (smallish parking lot), BB Comer bridge ramp (TINY parking lot right on Hwy 35) and my favorite, the Scottsboro City Park ramp in Roseberry Creek. Jackson County Park is also in Roseberry, but the City Park has lots more parking. There's also Goose Pond, but it has a $2/day parking fee and lots of tournament traffic most every weekend.

Dang it , this falls on a Club Tx and I need to fish this one . Wish every one a good day , maybe next year will get to do more .

And just for my own confirmation....it is the ramp across the bay from Covenant Cove, correct? We would turn and go by this ramp on our way over to the Southern Rally's if I'm thinking about the right ramp.

UPDATE - lil' cuz can't fish - has a funeral tomorrow. Best friend's Dad died suddenly of heart attack (in Dr's office!)

I have a friend coming up from Cullman to ride around with me. Looks like it's gonna be a great day to be on the lake! Everybody travel safely and see you there.
