From what I see Walter F George (Eufaula) has a 14 inch minimum.

I'm in... Eufaula does have a 14 inch limit on largemouth. Most of the tournaments allow 12 inch spots using the tongue patch as a guide. However some also make it 14" on both. Daylight is about 7:15 Georgia time 6:15 Alabama time. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/glasses.gif

I might be able to make it, have to drive down that morning, so that is one thing I'm thinking about(3 hour drive I think), also, I'll need a seat if I can make it. I've never fished Eufaula and have always wanted too, sooooo this might be my best bet :)

As a relative new comer to the board i was hoping to fish one of the club txs with you guys . Won't be able to make this one ,due to the fact that our bass club will be fishing that day also and it will be on Eufaula . Topper, What club are you in?

I fished the Easter Seals yesterday and we were not starting til after 7:00. I know it is not light at 6:30. By the way that's Georgia time. We could possibly get off at 7:00. Eufaula was under heavy cloud cover Sat. 31st...Safe daylight will probaly come around 6:10 or so....remember: Lake Point can be a very busy place....sometimes many clubs.....the old antange of "running with the big dogs or staying under the porch" applies here.....some guys run within the serpentining channel markers and some run straight crossing the channel several times...it can be very hairy.....iffen we can get gone before the others we might all return home alive! I vote for a 6:00 a.m. start

I think Rick is right if we go slow.

I don't think were going to have much trouble at Lake Point. The Larger Landing will handle 4 Boats putting in at one time. Looks like were going to have 5 or 6 so as long as you watch the boat traffic coming and going well be fine. Topper and Faster19 is that club close enough for a South AL Non fish catching guy in Enterprise to make? or is it a long haul to where you guys fish at?

If your looking for another ramp Rick and I went to a ramp at some park that I can't remember the name of, but it was very easy to get to.

It's between lake point and where hwy 82 meets 431. The road is lake street and the ramp is in the park at the end of the road. There's a bait shop on the corner.

The park was very nice and the ramp was a good ramp too. It said there was a two dollar charge but we couldn't find where to pay.

I'm all about the less popular ramps! But, I don't think it's a good to be changing stuff this late. We'll stay with lake point. (the Left ramp) and 6:15 - 3:00. I don't want to get anyone confused. If you guys can try to be there early and maybe we'll beat the crowd.

Poison, most the lakes we fish are within 1-1 1/2 hours of Columbus. Eufaula is probably the closest to you. We also fish Harding, Oliver, West Point, Goat Rock, Martin, Jordan, and Wedowee. There are 2 meetings a month in Columbus.

From the Alabama BBC Club Rules:

Section 26, Amendment G--First-Time Alabama BBC Tournament participants must fish alone. They must also bring breakfast for all other participants.

Show up with proof of insurance, you should also keep a copy of the first page of your policy in your boat. We may check for that from time to time. You can sign up until the Friday before tourney. That is only so I know who is coming. If you sign up and can't make please let me know by Friday night. If you are running late please call me 205-217-0925. If you have to leave a tourney early, please leave a note under the windshield wiper on the truck where you paid money and turned in paper work. Money will be taken up at the ramp along with paper work. Look for the truck and boat trailer with the hazard lights on. We are real laid back and this is basically a slightly more organized fruit jar tourney. Scales are just shipping scales and I have have not ever seen any arguments yet at our tourneys. No. You don't have to find a partner. You bring your own partner if you want one or someone will post they need one. Actually Danny Howell, (fishcraze) was hoping to find an open back seat for this tourney. If you don't have one and want one you can IM him.
