Re: Love My 181 (LForkChamp)
Very nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!
However, some confusion here, as they did not make a 181 until 1995. In 1993, they had a 180, but the 184 (rated for 175) was the main model in that 18' category until '95.

Re: Love My 184 (electric fish)
Re: Love My 184 (electric fish)
I'm not sure on the exact output now.. Scream and Fly guys said I could expect a good 10% increase from the lightwieght crank and Flywheel. But I Also Installed power race reeds, light wieght pistons and rods, and had some work done on the exhaust baffle. I do know that it will go from idle to 5500 and on plane so fast it's almost scary. I've had the gps up to 65mph a few times. I got the throttle adj. where it will only open 75-80% for break in and lack of self control http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif , I think Ill have to get a jack plate to get any more, I start loosing water pressure and it's trying to blow out when I push it over 65mph http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif

About the confusement on the model number..............you can blame it on Champion changing their model numbers every freaking yr! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif
</td></tr></table>
Not quite....
168, 176, 184, 201 were perpetuated for years, as was the newer 210, 198, 188, 183, etc. Some model number changes were due to changes in topcap configs, slight hull mods, etc... If memory serves, the only real confusion was the new 202, since there was already a previous 202 in the mid 90s. Totally different boats.
Re: Love My 184 (LForkChamp)
I have a 184 DCR Contender made in 1994. It came rigged with a Mariner Mag EFI 2.5 Litre. I love this gal bot it won't go anywhere as fast as yours. You really did a great job on the silver machine! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
