Jamie Horton - No Class - What a waste of his sponsors money.

Jamie Horton needs a little lesson in humility, which I expect he will get tomorrow. His comments to the crowd in Shreveport were unwarranted and showed that his level of class ranks right up there with his IQ. If his sponsors are anything other than locally represented, then I expect there will be numerous phone calls demanding an appology, or even a call for boycotting his sponsors for such idiotic behavior in front of thousands of people. Mr. Horton should take lessons from Aaron Martens in how to represent his self, his state, as well as his sponsors in the national spotlight. What a shame. There's always one in the crowd. I guess he feels this was his one little moment of glory and he needed some attention.

Can't quote him excatly but he thanked LSU for Alabama getting two players from LSU. It was a sports comment, I saw it didn't think he was serious, seamed more like sport rivalry dig.

It really wasn't the rivalry thing.... that will take care of itself this year. I just don't think the crowd deserved that. Those people came out to support bassfishing by being at the Classic. Im not a fan of either school, but i must say that there is a time and place for everything and that was not the time nor the place. He made himself look like a complete ignorant idiot, at a time he could have stepped up on stage thanked his sponsors, thanked the federation, thanked his family, he goes on to make a comment about college football on the biggest bassfishing stage in the world. Im a huge college football fan and trust me if im walking across the classic stage, college footbal is the farthest thing from being on my mind. Hey Jamie, remember you are representing more then just yourself when your up on stage, you sure made the bass federation looked very good tonight. You should take a lesson fron your neighbor, Alan Glasgow, im sure he wouldnt mind teaching you a thing or two about respect and dignity.
