Swindle goes and jumps ship to Sunline. Guess I'll have to respool all my reels now. Gonna miss them Vicious fishing commercials. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif

I don't blame him... Vicious isn't even close to Sunline FC on my reels http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
No such thing as a "good" fluoro. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
did not take him long as that stuff is junk. Always wondered how a pro could use that stuff
My fishing partner bought some Vicious line last year and he was stoked about it.....I told him I was reading online (BCC) that people thought it was junk. The first time we went out every cast he made the line would break...needless to say he was pi$$ed http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
i might be in the minority, but i actually like vicious elite in 17 to 20lb...

Was watching a fishing show last weekend and the angler was saying that he was using Vicious fishing line, and on the first cast his line snapped.

He's one of my favorite fisherman but who's going to trust his opinion. Isn't this the 4th line company in 5 yrs?
I think the heavy Vicious 15lb -25lb is ok, but anything under 15lb SUCKS!
May be one of the few??

Think about the Elite events they televise. I've NEVER had breakoffs like those guys do. They might be better fisherman than me by a damn site, but they are doing something wrong, or using something wrong.

Much better than the original.
I used vicious one time and had line breaks all day, good thing I was practicing and not in a tourney. I got rid of that crap really quick. Gamma is my fluoro of choice.

I don't know what you are doing wrong, but I fished today and could not break my 20 lb Seagaur without pulling the boat! Had to get on the trolling motor hard and away from the hangup to get it to break. And before you ask, my boat is fiberglass and 20+ feet in length. I find the Seagaur line pretty darn tough, and yes, I do have to buy it!
There is nothing better out there than Sunline. If you don't believe me just try it. i use to use xps and switched to Sunline and you can feel everything.

The Vicious seemed to be a lot stiffer and have a lot of memory compared to the above.
FWIW I also like the BPS Fluoro.
