Love the song you have on there...LOL
I have one I bought at Walmart for $89 back in the summer. It works great. Very simple to use and good and waterproof. The battery really doesn't last very long, so if you can find an extra battery you may want to pick it up.
Will the Kodak bankruptcy affect the service or warranty?
TOXIC
i've had one a year or so,we use it while the neices are swimming at the lake,it's very good and waterproof like they say.never no problems
I have one pretty good video outside. Inside not so great. Pics are OK with good light.
I have some cool underwater video of my son learning to swim.
i have a playsport, works awesome, takes great underwater videos too.
got one works great outdoors but the pics indoors are not so good, wish it had a flash
I have one,,, I had bought the newest one but found it's remote doesn't do all the functions so I brought it back to store and got the playsport3 which is fully remote functional and can switch between still and video with touch. Of remote and also got the gorilla tripod to clamp it in place so I can video or still pic hands free( while fishing of course) and got the floating case for it too, it's also waterproof to 10 feet http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif With all the extras and 2 32gb sd cards it cost $225
What are you guys using as mounts on your boats?
I have one as well. It works okay, and I've had it in the water as well. Pictures aren't the best. I would have went with the GOPRO if I could have.
Here a couple taken with it of my 5 year old skiing.

I use one of those flexible tripods. I can wrap it around the back nav light pole and point it towards the front. It provides good coverage of the front of the boat that way.

I got on and it works great. I made my own hat mount for it.
doc i did also, went to local hardware store got the stuff didn;t take but a couple mins
I've had one for well over a year now and love it. Take a lot of videos while fishing. Also had it on a Caribbean cruise and it took great underwater video while snorkeling. Probably have 6 hours of underwater video alone from the cruise. Have also taken it down all kinds of waterslides both on the ship and at Paradise Island with no problems, seems pretty durable. I have two batteries for it which is a must if you want to video any longer than about 90 minutes.
Great little camera. I have had mine since September and it does a good job. Sam's has some of the previous model on clearance for about $100. For that price, I don't think the bankrupcy is an issue.
I see them all the time on Internet deals for $59-$79. I think I got mine for around $70.

Is battery life different depending on the mode you record in?? I thought these units were getting 2-2.5 hrs a charge http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif
I bought mine in package deal and got a 2nd battery but I am not sure I have ever
put it in. I have used it on vacation and shot some of my kids ball games.
Never left it on for extended periods to test it thought.
Also I think their are 2 generations Zx2 and Zx3. I bought the Zx2 based on the reviews that the new features in Zx3 are less useful and the Zx2 is cheaper as it is an older model.
I record in 720 with the high frame rate (think it is 60/sec) and average 90-120 minutes per battery.
